Wade Wilson, better known as Deadpool, doesn't have one single, definitive "killer" in the traditional sense. He possesses a powerful healing factor that makes him incredibly difficult to kill permanently. However, we can examine the individuals and circumstances that have caused him significant harm, leading to temporary death or near-death experiences, and/or impacted his life negatively:
Cancer: Before becoming Deadpool, Wade Wilson was diagnosed with terminal cancer. This disease was essentially killing him and served as the catalyst for him joining the Weapon X program. It can be argued that cancer was the initial "killer" that propelled his story.
Ajax (Francis Freeman): Ajax was instrumental in transforming Wilson into Deadpool through the Weapon X program. While he gave Wade his healing factor, Ajax also subjected him to torturous experiments, and ultimately disfigured him. Therefore, Ajax can be considered a major antagonist and a source of tremendous suffering for Deadpool.
Circumstances & Deadpool's own actions: Deadpool's own reckless and often self-destructive behavior frequently puts him in situations where he faces death. His disregard for his own safety and his tendency to provoke dangerous enemies often lead to his temporary demise.
Enemies & Villains: Throughout his comic book history, Deadpool has faced numerous enemies who have attempted to kill him. These include characters like Taskmaster, T-Ray, and numerous others. Though these confrontations often end in a stalemate or Deadpool's temporary death followed by regeneration, they constitute repeated attempts to kill him.
